Bubbling Brown Sugar Alumni Assocation

Greetings Beautiful Bubbling Brown Sugars, 

​

As the founder of The Bubbling Brown Sugars Alumni Association, I would like to acknowledge  the Board members that was instrumental in bringing my dreams and vision to fruition. It was around 2016 when I had the idea to bring the Bubbling Brown Sugars together as an  organization. I asked Ayesha Watson if she could contact all of the Bubblings she knew in an effort to do something Special for Morris Brown College Homecoming. Ayesha definitely carried out that mission and more. A few months later, Ayesha was appointed to be the President of the BBSugars Alumni Association. She was instrumental in growing the membership from 8-10 participates to over 25 members. I am deeply grateful and appreciative for her services, she has been a key component in making BBSugars Alumni Association a Success. Ayesha Watson is to be recognized as a Co- Founder of BBSugars Alumni Association.

As the President of our organization Ayesha recommended Katherine Callahan to assist with the  activities of the group. Kat was later appointed Vice President. Katherine has showed her commitment and dedication by assisting and carrying out the goals set by the board. Katherine Callahan is to be recognized as a Co-Founder of BBSugars Alumni Association. Ayesha also had the foresight to bring in Khaya Baker a couple of years ago as an advisor, which 

turned out to be a great decision in that Khaya continues to inform BBSugars Alumni Coalition about Morris Brown College Alumni Association as well as making sure we became an Official Affinity Group Member on Morris Brown's Campus.

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the Election Board. They have worked diligently for  the last few weeks to make sure we had a fair election process. There may have been a few  bumps in the road but they overcame them gracefully. I Thank All of you So Much! My heartfelt thanks also go out to ALL of the Bubbling Brown Sugars for making this Association a Success .It is because of your Participation and unwavering Support during Homecoming and Special Performances and Events that I can Proudly Say I am a BUBBLING BROWN SUGARS DANCER. Beautiful Bubblings you set the bar higher each year! I can't wait to see what's Next!

In Conclusion, I would like to Thank All of the board members from the bottom of my Heart for 

all of the Hard Work, continuous dedication and determination to insure that BBSugars remain 

RELEVENT..!!!

However, this is not the time to close one chapter and open another but to continue to forge  ahead carrying out New Visions and Missions on this Exciting Journey. I Welcome The New  2023-24 Board Members with Open Arms! I Pray that we will continue to Uplift and Uphold THE LEGACY of The FOUNDER and VISIONARY of The ICONIC BUBBLING BROWN SUGARS DANCERS.....MRS. GAIL WILSON BERRY ( Established in 1975)
